Locus Ludi

These animations were created for a project called Locus Ludi. The Cultural Fabric of Play and Games in Classical Antiquity. There are more to come!

Locus Ludi is led by Professor Véronique Dasen at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. It is generously funded by the European Research Council (Grant agreement 741520).

Also featured is The Doctor's Game. This video was created for the Ure Museum exhibition, Locus Ludi: Anyone Can Play!. It is currently on display in the exhibition Ludique! at the Swiss Museum of Games.

It was created in collaboration with, but not funded by, the ERC 'Locus Ludi' project, with support from the University of Reading’s Arts Committee, and the Friends of the University of Reading.
